Herman Henry Wessel

Pupil of Frank Duveneck in painting and Vincent Nowottny in drawing at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Joined faculty of the Art Academy in 1908, and taught there for 40 years. Curator of painting at the Cincinnati Art Museum for 13 years.
